VAT
If applicable, the prices on your invoice include VAT for used products (“Brugtmoms”), and the buyer has no right to VAT deduction.
Purchases through Tradera
For purchases made via Tradera, please refer to your Tradera invoice for the exact amount paid in SEK including Tradera provision fee and before exchange costs.
Warranty
The warranty covers deviations from the product description reported immediately upon reception of the product.
The warranty does not cover any of the following:
- Defects or malfunctions when the product was sold as untested or defective.
- Defects or malfunctions which weren’t reported directly upon the reception of the product
- Defects or malfunctions which are normal given the product’s age
- Defects or malfunctions related to features not covered by the applied test procedure
- Defects due to improper maintenance or misuse, including the use of original power supplies.
- Deviations in relation to the visual state of the product.
The buyer shall pay the transportation cost if the product is returned due to a warranty claim. In the event that the claim is found to be justified, Retrotrade carries the cost of returning the functioning item to the buyer if shipping was included in the original purchase.
In the event that the warranty claim is found to be unjustified, Retrotrade reserves the right to claim a service fee of 275 DKK per commenced hour prior to returning the product.
Right of withdrawal
You have a 14 days right of withdrawal for online purchased counted from the day of reception. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must send an email or a letter to Retrotrade stating that you wish to withdraw the order.
Any shipping associated with the return of the order shall be paid by the buyer. The products shall be returned without undue delay.
Any damaged to the products caused by the buyer will be deduced from the goods upon return. Upon reception of the product, Retrotrade will perform a complete test, cf. the following section “Test Procedures”. The cost associated with the verification of the products’ condition upon return shall be paid by the buyer.
Test procedures
Vintage computers are subject to a basic power-on test unless a different test is advertised.
Commodore 64/128 are tested with diagnostics cartridge and with a keyboard tester.
Vintage tape software: It has been verified verification that the software loads until start screen. Vintage tape software sold as untested or unconfirmed failed to load with the applied azimuth setting.
Vintage power supplies are either tested with the related equipment or with a PSU tester, which tests voltages under load. The test cycle lasts 20 minutes.
Cables are not tested.
Vintage media sold as “untested” have not been subject to any kind of test.

Using the electronic equipment purchased from Retrotrade is at your own risk, and Retrotrade bears no responsibity for any direct or indirect losses entailing from electric malfunctioning.
It is strongly recommended not to use original power supplies with vintage equipment, as this may cause the products to fail sooner or later or may result in a fire.
Never leave Commodore 1541 drives powered on while out of sight as they may catch fire.
